Here on Indian Autos Blog's front page, there comes fresh news about the Duster everyday.
Today it’s about the Dacia Duster limited edition, which will be released in collaboration with Garmin, the world leader in satellite navigation systems for cars.
The Garmin Edition Duster will be showcased at the 2012 Paris motor show.
The limited edition will have some visual additions. Based on the Ambiance variant, the Duster will come in two new exterior shades – Platinum grey and Pearl black. Other exterior changes come from the front and rear scruff plates, black roof rails; new 16” alloy wheels and chrome tail pipe.
Dacia has not revealed the full car and is reserving the full monty for the Paris show.
On the inside, the center panel gets star-grey vents and Garmin’s Nüvi 2595 LMT (Lifetime Maps & Traffic) GPS system. Yes, Garmin will offer free map updates for a lifetime.
The Garmin branding will appear on the rear quarter panels just below the window and is also embroidered in the black fabric floor mats.
France, Poland and Romania are the countries that will get the Dacia Duster Garmin edition and it’s priced at €13,790 (Rs. 9.82 lakhs).
The engine options are 1.6 litre 105 Bhp petrol and the 1.5 DCi is same states of tune (85 Bhp or 110 Bhp) as our Renault Duster.
