Ford has introduced the Euro-spec 2018 Ford EcoSport (facelift), along with an ST-Line variant of it. This is the first-ever EcoSport ST-Line, joining the Edge ST-Line, Fiesta ST-Line, Focus ST-Line, Kuga ST-Line, Mondeo ST-Line and S-MAX ST-Line.
The new Ford EcoSport features a new look inspired by the Ford Edge and Ford Kuga. Its ST-Line variant gets a sportier styling to differentiate it from the regular model. Exterior highlights include unique Ford Performance-inspired bumpers and side skirts, 17-inch Dark Tarnish alloy wheels, black-finish roof rails and headlight bezels and extended painted roof and door mirrors. If that's not enough for recognition, there's an ST-Line badge on the front fender.
The dynamic theme is carried over inside with a unique ST-Line leather-trimmed flat-bottomed steering wheel; leather handbrake lever and gear knob; stainless steel sports pedals; distinctive partial leather seats with Miko-Dinamica inserts and red stitching; and scuff plates with ST-Line branding.
With the facelift, the Euro-spec Ford EcoSport has received an all-new 1.5-litre Ford EcoBlue diesel engine which produces 125 PS and 300 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the wheels via a 6-speed manual tranmsission and distributed between them through an all-wheel drive system. Other engine options include 100 PS 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol, 125 PS 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol, 140 PS 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol and 100 PS 1.5-litre TDCi diesel.

The new Ford EcoSport will hit the European markets later this year. Ford will release the 125 PS 1.5-litre EcoBlue diesel and 100 PS 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol engine options in mid-2018, though. The facelifted Ford EcoSport will go on sale in India in November 2017, but there's no speak of an ST-Line variant joining the range.
