Previously referred to as the BMW-TVS K03, the BMW G310R was recently unveiled online by BMW Motorrad. Now a riding video of the first sub-500 cc motorcycle from the German brand has been released, which shows the motorcycle in action and presents its exhaust note.
Taking inspiration from the BMW S1000R, the G310R features a street fighter styling typical of the current trend that includes a narrow halogen headlamp assembly, a bulky and muscular fuel tank with a sizeable tank extension that houses the radiator, exposed chassis instead of a centre cowl (underneath the rider seat), a high-set pillion seat, an upward sloping exhaust can, split grab handles for pillion, disc brakes on both wheels, black alloy wheels, sharp and slender turn indicators and an LED taillamp mounted on the registration plate hanger.

The BMW G310R is powered by a backward-tilted single-cylinder 313 cc liquid-cooled engine with DOHC, that produces 34 hp (25 kW) at 9,500 rpm and 28 Nm at 7,500 rpm. BMW Motorrad has not mentioned the transmission system used in the G310R, but it is highly likely that a six-speed gearbox is being used.
