Suzuki Motor (Thailand) showcased the Swift Sport Auto Salon Version at the recently concluded Thai Motor Expo. Other than displaying the tastefully modified version of the performance-focussed Swift, the company lined up the finalists of a contest that aimed to find the best custom Suzuki Swift in the country. Among the five cars shown at the Expo was a Super Black Pearl Custom Suzuki Swift owned by one Mr Sarawut.
While the custom Suzuki Swift features the factory-spec black shade of paint, it gets styling updates that make it bolder and sportier. The front-end receives the Swift Sport’s bumper, whose highlight is a staggered grille and prominent diffuser. The fog lamps have been given a yellow tint, while the stock hood has made way for a carbon fibre panel. The custom bonnet not only helps the car lose some weight but imparts a race-ready look.
The highlight of the profile is the set of golden 17-inch negative offset alloy wheels shod with 205/45-section rubber. Other than the new rims, the car gets sporty side skirts. The rear-end features a new bumper with a dual exhaust setup and a roof spoiler. Both these updates come from the Swift Sport’s parts bin.
The interior stays mostly true to that of the stock Thai-spec Suzuki Swift and the notable upgrade comes in the form of a set of three gauges atop the centre console. Other than the additional instrumentation and a Pioneer-sourced 2DIN audio system, the cabin remains precisely the same as that of the regular.

The only performance upgrade for the custom Suzuki Swift is an updated suspension that lowers the ride height of the popular supermini. Powering the Thai-spec Swift is a K12M 1.2-litre Dualjet naturally aspirated petrol engine that outputs 83 PS and 108 Nm. The motor comes paired with a CVT.
