The Bajaj Pulsar 200 SS is almost sure to debut at the upcoming 2014 Auto Expo and our friends at Riot Engine have done some renderings using a 3D modeling software. Based on some of the spy shots of what is mostly the Bajaj Pulsar 200 SS, the pictures are a fan's dream.
As seen in the sketches, the 200 SS gets full front fairing, housing within its contours a split projector headlamp unit and daytime running lights. The fuel tank, going by the spy shots so far, gets a taller profile, thereby making for a more sporty riding position.
The renderings also retain LED taillights for the 200 SS that are similar in configuration to the ones on the Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS. However, spy shots so far have revealed that the taillights take a shape that is more in tune with the KTM RC390's rear profile than that of the Pulsar 200 NS.
There are also conventional mirrors, rather than the mirrors used in the Pulsar 220. The renderings also suggest that the 200 SS is likely to retain the same exhaust unit first seen on the 200 NS and not go the KTM way.
A sporty version of the 200 NS, perhaps with the same engine developing more power, has been spied time and again and we expect this to be launched at the 2014 Auto Expo.
