The folks at Autologue Design have something special in store for touring enthusiasts. The team has created ‘Xplorer’ kit for the KTM 125 Duke, 200 Duke and 390 Duke (previous generation). They have also made a kit for the flagship Bajaj motorcycle that is pitched as a mile-muncher, the Dominar 400. The kit for the KTM 125, 200 and 390 Duke from the previous generation would be available on January 25, 2019. The new 250 and 390 Duke models would get the custom panels from February 25, 2019. Dominar 400 owners would get the kit on March 15, 2019. Regular readers would have read our first report about the kit in September.

What does the Xplorer kit offer? As mentioned above, the kit is targeted at touring enthusiasts. Thus, the custom body kit enhances the windblast protection. It brings a semi-fairing design and a tall windscreen to the naked roadsters. The windscreen and the fairing push the wind away from the rider, thus enhancing the comfort while cruising at highway speeds. Apart from the custom-built fairing, the kit includes the following:
- Knuckle guards
- Bash plate
- Handlebar Risers
- Spoked wheels
- Chassis mounts
- Suspension options
- Brake options
- Light upgrades
The motorcycles would retain the stock fuel tank and split seat setup as well as the stock wheels instead of a slightly bigger front unit that could’ve enhanced the off-roading prowess of the roadsters. The rendered image uses knobby style tyres but the choice depends on the rider’s preference. Luggage solutions include a top mount.
Ergonomics would be marginally revised for upright riding stance with the use of handlebar risers. The tall handlebar would also offer better accessibility while standing on the footrests on the rough terrain. Autologue Designs also offers mechanical upgrades through its collaborations with experts. The full body kit would cost you INR 20,500. Buyers can also opt for individual parts that include:
- Fairing kit, tank extension with visor and bracket for relocation - INR 13,500
- Bash plate / belly - INR 4,000
- Tail panels - INR 3,000
