Previews Audi's new design language that will be seen in future cars.
Audi will be presenting the Prologue Concept at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show this week. Teased by way of a video earlier, here are the first sketches of the concept, which could preview a new flagship 'A9' model for the brand by the end of this decade. More than the A9, the concept previews Audi's future design language that will be adopted on cars like the new Q7 and A4.
The concept measures about 5.1 meters in length and gets a Single Frame grille, a defining design element which is sure to be seen on Audi's future production cars. The two-door coupe sports a long bonnet, and an almost fastback-like design for its rear.
While technical details about the Prologue will be available only after its debut, reports claim that the car uses the VW Group's MLB Evo platform, and is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine.

The Prologue Concept was designed under the leadership of Marc Lichte, who says he was inspired by cars like the first generation TT, A8 and the racing only 90 Quattro IMSA GTO.
