Features the Matrix LED headlamp.
Audi India yesterday launched the 2015 Audi A6 (facelift), calling it the Audi A6 Matrix, at a price of INR 49.50 lakh (ex-Showroom, New Delhi and Mumbai). This is the 6th launch for the company in this year.
Power for the A6 Matrix comes from a redeveloped 2.0-liter TDI engine that now puts out 190 hp, an increase of seven percent over the outgoing model. Audi India also claims that the new engine improves the fuel efficiency of the car by five percent. The retuned engine is now mated to a new 7-speed S tronic transmission. The sedan comes with 8 airbags, 2 of which are dedicated to the rear passengers.
The Audi A6 Matrix gets its name from the Matrix LED headlamps that it sports. This makes the A6 Matrix the third model in India to feature the advanced headlamps after the Audi A8 and the Audi RS6 Avant. The German manufacturer has revised the A6's singleframe grille, given it new bumpers, and redesigned its taillights with LED bands.
On the inside, the A6 Matrix gets four-zone automatic aircon for "individual temperature preferences", front passenger seat that's electrically adjustable from the rear, power-retractable 20.32 cm monitor for the infotainment system, voice dialogue system, 600W Bose surround sound speakers, and new Milano leather.
