Speaking on the sidelines of the Geneva Motor Show, Daimler chief Dieter Zetsche has confirmed that the all-new Mercedes S Class will be revealed in Hamburg on the 15th of May. If it is just a product launch, then why do you need to mark your calendar?

That's because it is not just a product launch. The all-new Mercedes S Class signifies an important step for the whole automotive community. The S Class has been the gold standard for all-things-automotive for seven decades. Most of the technology and features that you see in your car debuted on the Mercedes S Class.

In fact, the S Class is referred to as the crystal ball of automotive market. If you want to see the future, you have to drive and experience the S Class.

2014 Mercedes S Class

The Stuttgart based automaker has previewed the sultry design of the 2014 Mercedes S Class via the Concept Aesthetics S at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. Mercedes is banking very heavily on the success of the new S Class to regain its numero uno position in the luxury car market by 2020. With the demise of the Maybach brand, Mercedes intends to diversify the S Class portfolio by offering seven different body styles. After its unveil in May, the Mercedes S Class will hit production lines in September.
