Some modifications are so visually appealing that you just cannot take your eyes off them. One such mod-job to have come to our attention is a modified Royal Enfield Electra named Johnnie. The modified bike is based on a 2007 Royal Enfield Electra.

This vintage World War II-inspired motorcycle features a massive visual overhaul. The attention to detail is commendable. The changes begin at the front, where the fender packs a unique brass garnishing. The engraved picture on the plate features a soldier riding his motorcycle. Another brass badge sits on the left side of the front forks that holds the name of the owner.
The stock headlight has been replaced with a 1950’s style unit to enhance its retro-looks. The illumination department is further aided by a crash guard-mounted auxiliary light. The right side of the crash bar can be used as a bottle holder. The boxy-shape of the blinkers looks proper retro and appealing. The taillight, too, uses a rectangular shape.
Smith’s Speedo and Lucas Amp meters give the motorcycle a revised, old-school bike inspired cockpit. The handlebar and the switchgear have been sourced from the standard model to ensure that all the modern functions are retained. The rearview mirrors, too, have been sourced from the standard bike.
More changes come to attention as you venture past the revised cockpit. The fuel tank gets a unique filler cap with a brass finish and engraved logo of EIMOR Customs. The wood garnishing on the sides of the tank further enhance the visuals and make the modified Electra more appealing.
A rider-only saddle (with vintage style springs and leather cover) setup follows the fuel tank, while the pillion seat has been replaced by a wooden frame carrier. The carrier is claimed to be strong enough to act as a standby seat. The hand-polished dried teak wood retains the natural grain that gives the Electra a unique and a premium look and speaks for the attention to detail that has gone into the modification.
Apart from the visual changes in terms of wooden and brass garnish, the modified Electra also packs a military-grade petrol canister and a utility box. The boxes have been fastened with custom made genuine leather belts.
The glossy olive paint finish enhances World War II inspired-styling while the powder-coated colour on the wheels matches the shade of the motorcycle. The wire-spoke wheels are wrapped in MRF Moto C tyres.
The upgrades move beyond the paint job and other visual enhancing elements. EIMOR Customs has updated the braking setup with the inclusion of a disc brake at the back. Shock absorption department comprises telescopic forks at the front and twin-sided springs at the back.
