In addition to Revolt Intellicorp's official website, the Revolt RV 400 is now available to pre-order on Amazon India as well. Amazon India is the official online partner of the company. The motorcycle is listed on the partner website in both the colour options – Rebel Red and Cosmos Black.

The artificial-intelligence enabled motorcycle can be pre-booked for a token amount of INR 1,000 (fully refundable), although the price, launch details and delivery date are not available yet. While we await an announcement, a report from last month claimed that the price will be revealed on 22 July. The motorcycle was previously expected to arrive closer to the INR 1 lakh (on-road Delhi) levels. However, the recent proposal to reduce the GST on electric vehicles from 12% to 5% could result in even lower prices.
The RV 400 does not have a direct threat in the electric motorcycle segment and it would compete against the 150-180 cc bikes with internal combustion engines that retail in the sub-INR 1 lakh price bracket. The Revolt product packs several features that give it an edge in terms of styling. The lights on the RV 400, for example, are full-LED (headlamp, tail light and blinkers). The instrument console comes with a full LCD screen along with Bluetooth connectivity.
The hardware specifications outrun the internal combustion engine-powered bikes in the sub-INR 1 lakh price range and the RV 400 uses monoshock at the back and upside-down telescopic front forks to perform the suspension tasks. Revolt Motors would also offer optional accessories with the RV 400, one of which will be a Bluetooth-enabled helmet that can control various functions of the electric motorcycle with voice commands.
Revolt Motors offers a smartphone app that helps access functions such as geofencing, tracking trip and select from preset exhaust notes. The Revolt app also monitors the battery of the motorcycle to provide the charge levels/range available and to order a charged battery. The app can find the closest battery-swapping station to exchange an empty pack with a fully charged unit.

The Revolt RV 400 is claimed to clock a top speed of 85/h (electronically limited) and offer an ARAI-certified range of 156 km. Disc brakes will provide the stopping power, and the display models at the unveiling event missed the safety net of ABS or CBS. We should see the safety tech on the models delivered to customers.
