The 2019 Suzuki Gixxer SF (155), which was launched in India on 20 May, has started reaching dealerships. The facelifted model carries several visual changes and has been priced at INR 109,870 (ex-showroom Delhi). It is available in two colours options – Glass Sparkle Black, & Metallic Sonic Silver/Glass sparkle black.
The 2019 Suzuki Gixxer SF (155) features a sharper front fairing, a redesigned instrument console and a full LED headlight. The reworked display on the updated 155 cc motorcycle holds the tachometer on the top, gear indicator on the left, speedometer in the centre, fuel gauge on the right and the odometer on the bottom. A digital clock sits next to the odometer. The gearshift indicator occupies the top spot on the console.
Mechanical specifications have been tweaked to bring the engine closer to the BS-VI standards. The updated, 154.9 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, SOHC, 2-valve motor with fuel injection tech delivers 14.1 PS of max power at 8,000 rpm and 14 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm. This engine is coupled to a five-speed gearbox.
Shock absorption department comprises conventional telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the back. Stopping power comes from two disc brakes, both governed. The safety net of single-channel ABS is standard.

Suzuki has also announced optional accessories for the new Gixxer SF series that will be available at the dealerships. The six optional extras include a smoked visor, tank protector, tank graphic, rim stickers, seat cover and a DC socket.
