The non-ABS Bajaj Pulsar 180F was introduced in March this year at INR 87,450 (ex-showroom Delhi). Bajaj launched the Pulsar 180F without ABS to offer it at competitive rates before ABS became mandatory from the 1st of this month. The non-ABS version can no longer be sold. Do note that Bajaj Auto is yet to list the ABS version online.

Like all other ABS Bajaj models except the Dominar 400 ABS, the Pulsar 180F ABS features a single-channel ABS along with Rear Lift-off Protection (RLP). The regular Pulsar 180 (without the semi-fairing) also has received ABS.

The Bajaj Pulsar 180F ABS is available in same two colours as the non-ABS version – Neon Orange and Neon Red. The styling, features and mechanical specifications are identical to those of the non-ABS version. The Pulsar 220F inspired styling includes a semi-fairing design, vertically stacked headlight, and fairing mounted rear view mirrors. The Neon Orange colour option comes in a matte finish. The Neon Red, on the other hand, has a glossy finish.

The Bajaj Pulsar 180F ABS draws power from a 178.6 cc air-cooled, 4-valve DTS-i motor that delivers a maximum power of 17.02 PS at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque of 14.22 Nm at 6,500 rpm. Do note that the standard Pulsar 180 features a 2-valve engine. However, the performance numbers of both models are identical. Stopping power comes from disc brakes on both wheels.
