Tata Motors unveiled the Altroz, Altroz EV, H2X Concept and Buzzard at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. The company took the opportunity to even introduce the Harrier to the European audience, albeit, with a different name - Buzzard Sport.

The Buzzard Sport, with its sophisticated design, feature-laden cabin, potent engine and well-sorted dynamics, is the perfect candidate for Tata Motors' re-entry into the European markets. Moreover, it is expected to comply with the stringent European safety norms.
It's noteworthy here that Tata Motors can't use the Harrier nameplate abroad as it would be a direct infringement of trademark rights possessed by Toyota. Compared to the Tata Harrier, the Buzzard Sport features some minor cosmetic changes, including a black-painted roof and larger, 18-inch dual-tone machined alloy wheels.
The Tata Harrier was launched in India in January 2019. It has been on sale in a price range of INR 12.69-16.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is the first production model to be designed as per the company's IMPACT 2.0 philosophy.
The Tata Harrier is powered by an FCA-sourced 2.0-litre Multijet II turbo-diesel engine that is being marketed as 'Kryotec.' The oil-burner features an electronically controlled Variable Geometry Turbocharger (eVGT) and produces a maximum power of 140 PS and a peak torque of 350 Nm. It is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, but a recent spy image hinted launch of an optional Hyundai-sourced 6-speed automatic gearbox.

The Tata Harrier is the first recipient of the OMEGA ARC modular platform that is basically a modified D8 platform from Jaguar Land Rover. The Tata Buzzard Sport has the same dimensions. It measures 4,598 mm in length, 1,894 mm in width and 1,706 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,741 mm, which is identical to that of the Land Rover Discovery Sport as well.
