Goa-based custom motorcycle builder Rag & Bone Customs has come up with a modified Royal Enfield Bobber that employs a 1000cc V-Twin motor from Carberry Motorcycles. YouTuber Jaipur Jeep Lovers has released a clip of the exhaust note of the bike, and it is immense music to ears.

The V-Twin engine is evident from the raspy exhaust note, which gives a sense of the motorcycle breathing fire. Englishman Paul Smith of Rag & Bone Customs has handcrafted this Royal Enfield Bobber 1000, which is christened 'Alchemy'. The motorcycle is a hardtail bobber that offers pure motorcycling delight, according to Paul. Apart from the engine, suspension, wheels and electricals, parts are hand-built. It took the builder six months to complete the project.

According to Paul Smith, the custom Royal Enfield Bobber is built around the Carberry 1000 engine. A custom rolling chassis with a hardtail design was explicitly designed for this project. Parts like kidney-shaped fuel tank, dragster handlebar and the single leather-seat are built in-house. The motorcycle features a minimalist fender at the back and an LED projector headlight.

The custom Royal Enfield Bobber rides on wire-spoke wheels that are wrapped with custom-made tyres. Braking power comes from a front disc and a rear drum brake setup. The battery box is set lower, between the engine and the rear tyre.

Powering the Alchemy 1000 Bobber is a 1000cc 55-degree, V-Twin air-cooled engine from Carberry Motorcycles, which has its workshop in India. The powertrain combines two 499cc UCE motors from the Royal Enfield Classic 500, while it is mated to a five-speed transmission. The fuel-injected engine produces 52 PS of maximum power and 82 Nm of peak torque. The motor features a 7-plate clutch and a heavy crankshaft, while the oil capacity is 3.7 litres. The engine alone costs INR 4.96 lakh, excluding the exhaust system.
