Troubles around the Classic 500 Pegasus seem to have finally resolved as Royal Enfield has provided the buyers with riding gear and apparel worth INR 15,000. Owners have received an email that has the link where buyers can visit and claim the accessories. A Royal Enfield Classic 500 Pegasus owner has shared a video explaining what the brand has offered. He also claims that all 60-65 people who have been in constant contact with him are satisfied with Royal Enfield’s initiative. Watch the video below:

What do the owners get? Royal Enfield has offered a custom helmet with a unique stencilled number – same as the one that is on the motorcycle, riding jacket, bag and a lapel pin – all featuring Royal Enfield branding, free of cost.
This is not the first attempt made by the two-wheeler brand to calm angry buyers. Previously, Classic 500 Pegasus owners were given the three options as a solution to their complaints. Royal Enfield dealerships offered:
- Full refund in return of the Classic 500 Pegasus
- One year extended warranty and two free services
- Exchange the Classic 500 Pegasus with Gunmetal Grey or Stealth Black ABS versions
The Royal Enfield Classic 500 Pegasus limited edition was an instant hit and all 250 units reserved for the Indian market were sold in just three minutes in July 2018. However, trouble brewed when Royal Enfield launched the Classic 350 Signals Edition in August 2018. Classic 500 Pegasus owners protested that the Classic 350 Signals Edition looked identical to the limited edition 500cc. Moreover, the Classic 350 Signals Edition received ABS while the Indian spec Classic 500 Pegasus did not.

The motorcycle was offered in two colour options – Olive Drab Green and Service Brown. The Classic 500 Pegasus features a unique emblem and an individually stencilled serial number on the fuel tank. Mechanical specifications, however, are identical to the standard Classic 500 and the motorcycle uses the 499cc single cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine that delivers 27.2 hp of maximum power at 5,250 rpm and 41.3 Nm of peak torque at 4,000 rpm.
