A peculiar motorcycle was spotted testing in Indonesia in recent weeks. According to Iwanbanaran, it is the first prototype of the upcoming Suzuki Bandit 150.
According to the report, the bike slightly resembles the Suzuki GSX-S150 street naked. An Iwanbanaran reader spotted the test mule in the Jonggol - Cilengsi - Cikarang area of Indonesia. Unlike the previous spotting, where only the rear section is visible, the new spy images display the front and side profile of the bike.
According to the publication, the headlight gets LED elements and is a new unit as compared to the GSX-S150. However, the side profile and fuel tank design is mostly similar to the street naked, claims the publication. According to the spy images, the upcoming Suzuki Bandit 150 gets a single-piece seat and grab rails for the pillion.
The upswept exhaust system is similar to the Suzuki GSX-S150; however, it gets a metal cover for protection against heat. The report claims that the headlamp assembly is identical to the Suzuki Satria F150, a performance moto-scooter that receives a 150cc, fuel injected engine. The Suzuki Bandit 150 is likely to be a comfortable touring motorcycle, claims Iwanbanaran.
Speaking about the engine, the Bandit 150 will source power from the same engine that drives the Suzuki GSX S-150. The 147.3 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel injected engine develops 19 bhp of max power at 11,000 rpm and 13.9 Nm of peak torque at 8,500 rpm on the GSX S-150. The engine pairs with a 6-speed transmission.

The Suzuki Bandit 150 sports telescopic forks up front and a mono-shock at the rear. Braking hardware includes disc brakes at both the ends; however, it isn’t clear whether the bike will get ABS. The bike features a wide handlebar and an engine belly cover. According to the report, Suzuki will launch the Bandit 150 in Indonesia in August 2018.
