Bangalore-based Bulleteer Customs has come out with a new scrambler based on the Royal Enfield Classic 500, called the ‘Reckless.’
The Royal Enfield Classic 500 scrambler is developed by the Bulleteer Customs’ Head Designer for himself and is a personal expression of his style. The ‘Reckless’ scrambler features several custom body parts while the motorcycle gets more power with mechanical upgrades. The bike comes with custom chopped front and rear fenders and a single-piece elongated seat with a tanned brown leather finish.
The modified Royal Enfield Classic 500 ‘Reckless’ scrambler receives a custom-made large round fuel tank and upside-down front forks from the KTM 390 Duke. A pair of gas-charged shock absorbers from Paioli replaces the stock twin-shock absorbers at the rear. The ‘Reckless’ scrambler features Daymaker LED headlight with rugby helmet-style grille and yellow tint. The bike rides on 18-inch front and 15-inch rear rims with wire-spokes that receive matte black finish.
The wheels pair to a 120/80-section front and 140/90-section rear knobby tires from Ralco. The modified Royal Enfield Classic 500 Scrambler features a custom bracket for the taillight, while the bike also receives a free flow exhaust system. The motorcycle features twin-pod instrument cluster and a custom silver, black and white paint scheme with ‘Reckless’ branding.
As far as mechanical mods are concerned, the Reckless scrambler uses a re-bored 540 cc engine that comes with revised sprockets and a K&N filter. According to the customizer, the motorcycle gets exclusive power tuning on that VM36 Mikuni carburettor, which has resulted in a significant power bump. The customizer says it is effortless to lose the rear end while doing power slides and drifts during off-road sections. That said, Bulleteer Customs has kept the power and performance figures a secret.
