From Kerala-based 360 motoring that brought us one of the craziest Chevrolet Cruzes we've seen comes a Maruti Ciaz that could be India's most striking one yet. Like the Cruze, the Ciaz features a wide-body kit and other custom enhancements that make it stand out among the lakhs of Ciaz on Indian roads.

From the front, the modified Ciaz has a very Audi-esque front fascia with a sharp hexagonal grille mesh grille flanked by large intakes on each side and a gloss black front splitter. It also gets custom projector headlamps with corona rings and LED DRLs, spaced out wheels with 18-inch BBS-esque rims, flaring wheel arches similar to DTM race cars, a super aggressive rear bumper with quad tailpipes (probably fake), blacked-out taillamps, and a sizeable rear wing finished in gloss black. To contrast with the mustard yellow paint job, its roof is finished in gloss black.

The interior hasn't been revealed yet, although the description does state that modifications have been made to the cabin. No word on engine modifications as well, but we wouldn't be wrong to think if the owner thought of installing a custom map for the ECU to extract more power, or go further with custom hardware upgrades. Either way, what this Ciaz manages that the stock one doesn't is its ability to turn heads.

However, if you're the kind of person that likes the stock look of a car but feel the Ciaz's styling is a bit aged, Maruti is readying a facelift which is expected to launch in the second half of August. Spy shots and renders have revealed the car completely, featuring changes that ups the premium quotient by a notch. It will also get a new 1.5L 4-cyl petrol motor, but a diesel version is reportedly not in the offing initially.
