The Bajaj Pulsar range has reached a sales milestone of 1 crore units in India. Back in December 2017, the Pulsar brand achieved one crore in sales globally. Bajaj Auto has released a new TVC to celebrate this historic feat.
The video depicts a range of Pulsars performing stunts in the ‘Pulsar City.’ However, only the Pulsar NS 200, RS 200, Pulsar 180 and the Pulsar 150 UG5 make into the video. The rest of the Pulsar family is conspicuous by its absence. At the end of the video, a voiceover says – 1 crore Pulsar, join the tribe.
In May 2018, the Bajaj Pulsar range crossed cumulative sales of over 70,000 units for the first time in a single month in India. Bajaj Auto sells the 135 LS, 150, 180, 220, NS 160, NS 200, and RS 200, under the Pulsar brand. Bajaj Auto is reportedly betting big on reviving the premium commuter segment with a new entry-level Pulsar 125.

The engine produces a maximum power of 24.5 bhp at 9,750 rpm and a peak torque of 18.6 Nm at 8,000 rpm on the Pulsar RS 200, mated to a 6-speed transmission.
The same motor produces a maximum power of 23.2 bhp at 9,500 rpm and a peak torque of 18.3 Nm at 8,000 rpm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Both bikes also get single-channel ABS as an option.
