The Tata Tigor will soon gain its first special edition model called ‘Tata Tigor Buzz’ as revealed by the images we shared earlier this week. IAB has got its hands on certification documents of the Tata Tigor Buzz that reveal its specifications.

Tata Tigor Buzz petrol specifications
The Tata Tigor Buzz will come with the same engines as the regular Tata Tigor.

The Tata Tigor Buzz measures 3,992 mm in length, 1,677 mm in width and 1,537 mm in height. This means that it has no changes in dimensions. Both the 1.2 L Revotron powered petrol variant and the 1.05 L Revotorq powered diesel variant will be available in special edition form.

The 1.2 L naturally aspirated three-cylinder petrol engine produces 85 PS at 6,000 rpm and 114 Nm of torque at 3,500 rpm. The 1.05 L turbocharged three-cylinder diesel engine develops 70 PS at 4,000 rpm and 140 Nm of torque at 1,800-3,000 rpm. Both engines will come paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. Buyers won't have the 5-speed EasyShift AMT option in the Buzz edition.

Spy shots have revealed that the Tata Tigor Buzz is differentiated from the regular Tata Tigor with its distinctive styling. It features a contrasting black roof, black ORVMs, black interior inserts and red AC vent surrounds.

The regular Tata Tigor MT is available in XE, XM, XT, XZ and XZ(O) grades. The Tata Tigor Buzz is based on the entry-level Tata Tigor XE. This means that it will come with features like body coloured bumpers, LED tail lamps, dual-tone interior, 2.5-inch driver information display, Eco and City drive modes, manual AC and driver footrest. In addition, Tata Motors will throw in the basic ConnectNext infotainment system as a value addition.
