Launched last year, the Lexus LX was available in India in only in the LX 450d diesel engine guise until now. Lexus has now launched the the LX 570 petrol engine model too for a price of INR 2.3 crore (ex-showroom).
The Lexus LX 570 is powered by a 5.7-litre naturally aspirated V8 petrol engine that produces 362 hp at 5,600 rpm and 530 Nm of torque at 3,200 rpm. An 8-speed automatic transmission and a full-time 4WD system are standard. The LX 570 comes with the Multi-Terrain Select that allows the driver to select from various drive modes suitable for different terrains. Then there’s also 5-speed Crawl Control, which automatically maintains an optimal slow and steady pace over challenging terrains. It automatically adjusts the torque and brakes on each wheel independently.
The Lexus LX 570 is available exclusively in one single configuration. Its robust yet luxurious exterior styling is enhanced with triple LED headlights that feature L-shaped illumination. Inside, the full-size luxury SUV boasts the high-precision Takumi craftsmanship in semi-aniline leather upholstery and the Shimamoku trim on the steering wheel.
The Lexus LX 570 is packed with a plethora of comfort and convenience features, with which it expresses the Lexus spirit of hospitality, or ‘omotenashi’. Lexus Climate Concierge for individual temperature customisation and comfort, 19-speaker Mark Levinson reference surround sound system and 11.6 HD liquid crystal AI displays for rear seats are a few of these features.

One of the main selling points of the Lexus LX 570 is its seating capacity. The Lexus LX 450d, priced at INR 2,32,90,000 (ex-showroom Delhi), is a 5-seat SUV. The Lexus LX 570, however, has a third row of seats for two more passengers. It costs INR 2,32,94,000 (ex-showroom) and dealers are currently accepting bookings for the SUV.
