Madurai based car customization outlet, Auto XSculpt has carried out modifications to a Maruti Dzire giving it an S-Cross-like grille. These images were shared by the company's Facebook page.
The modified Maruti Dzire gets a chrome front grille inspired from that of the 2017 Maruti S-Cross. It features 8-vertical chrome slats with the Suzuki logo placed in the centre. Aside from the grille, other modifications include LED light guides mimicking the ones the Dzire ZXi+/ZDi+ grades sport and LED fog lamps. Illuminated door sill plates are also listed among the additions as Matrix sill plates. Details regarding the cost of the modification have not been shared.
The Maruti Dzire is currently one of the most popular cars on sale in India. Over the December 2017 to February 2018 period, it was the highest selling car in India three months in a row. It took just 5 months to cross the 1 lakh unit sales milestone.
Maruti offers the Dzire with 1.2 L K-Series petrol and 1.3 L DDiS diesel engine options. Both are available with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox. Maruti Dzire petrol prices start INR 5.56 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi) onwards while the diesel range is priced from INR 6.56 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
