The 2018 Suzuki Ertiga (2018 Maruti Ertiga)’s specifications have leaked online in a brochure scan that surfaced online today.
The second-gen Suzuki Ertiga measures 4,395 mm in length, 1,735 mm in width and 1,690 mm in height. It is 130 mm longer, 40 mm wider and 5 mm higher than the first-gen Suzuki Ertiga. Its wheelbase is the same as that of the old model - 2,740 mm. Suzuki has reduced the ground clearance (from 185 mm) by 5 mm to 180 mm. The turning radius is the same as before - 5.2 metres.
With the seatbacks raised, the 2018 Suzuki Ertiga offers a luggage space of 153 litres. The luggage capacity increases to 550 litres on folding the third-row seatbacks and to 803 litres of folding the second-row seatbacks.
Under the hood, the 2018 Suzuki Ertiga features the brand new K15B 1.5L VVT four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 104.7 PS at 6,000 rpm and 138 Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm. In comparison, the current Suzuki Ertiga’s K14B 1.4L VVT four-cylinder petrol engine develops 92 PS at 6,000 rpm and 130 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The new Ertiga offers the same transmission choices - 5MT and 4AT.

Suzuki will unveil the 2018 Suzuki Ertiga at the IIMS 2018 tomorrow. It will offer the redesigned model in seven colours, including two new introductions - Metallic Magma Grey and Pearl Glorious Brown. The 2018 Maruti Ertiga’s launch is reported to ensue this August.
