Suzuki Motorcycle India has officially launched the Suzuki Intruder 150 FI. The Japanese brand unveiled the fuel injected variant at this year’s Auto Expo last month. The Suzuki Intruder 150 FI has been priced at INR 1,06,896 (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
The Suzuki Intruder 150 FI features the Suzuki Advanced Fuel Injection Technology with 6 sensors that calculate the optimum amount of fuel required for better combustion. This provides an accurate throttle response at all RPMs. It also results in easy cold starts. Interestingly, the fuel injected variant produces the same power and torque figures as the carburetted variant. The 154.9 cc SOHC engine with air cooling makes 14.8 PS at 8,000 rpm and 14 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The engine pairs with a 5-speed manual transmission. Visually, the bike is similar to the carburetted variant, but features FI badging on the handlebar cowl.

Cycle parts include telescopic front fork and a rear monoshock. The bike gets disc brakes on both ends with a single channel ABS. Sajeev Rajasekharan, Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing, SMIPL said:
Since its launch, the INTRUDER has received an overwhelming demand with close to 15000 units sold, overachieving our projected sales target by 25%. With a unique blend of premium appeal, coupled with futuristic features like ABS and now an efficient Fuel Injection technology, the INTRUDER is a premium offering in the cruiser segment, unlike any other.
The 17-inch alloy wheels wear 100-section front and 140-section rear tubeless tyres. The cruiser is available in two colours: Metallic Oort/Metallic Matt Black No 2 and Glass Sparkle Black/Metallic Matt Titanium Silver. It rivals the 2018 Bajaj Avenger Street 180.
