Mahindra has planned four new launches for the next financial year. Two of them are the Mahindra U321 and Mahindra S201. According to a report from Moneycontrol, the company will launch both these models by the next festive season (Q4 CY 2018).
The latest development was revealed by Dr. Pawan Goenka, MD, Mahindra & Mahindra. In an interview with the business publication recently, Dr. Goenka said:
We have a couple of refreshes happening in the next 2-3 months. And two big ones - S201 and U321 - which is likely to happen between now and next festive season.”
Last year, it was reported that Mahindra plans to launch two versions of the SsangYong X100 platform-based Mahindra S201: 5-seat and 7-seat. The 5-seat version will arrive first. Measuring no longer than four metres in length, this version will compete with the Maruti Vitara Brezza and Ford EcoSport. Buyers will have 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol and 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine options in both the versions.

The Mahindra U321 is a new MPV that will arrive in 7- and 8-seat versions. Mahindra's first monocoque-bodied MPV will debut a new 1.6-litre diesel engine co-developed with SsangYong. Availability of a petrol engine is a given, but no details are available as of now.
