Mercedes-Benz will launch 10 new products in India this year. According to a report from The Economic Times, one of these new products is the 2018 Mercedes C-Class. The 2018 Mercedes C-Class’ India launch will take place by the end of the year.
The 2018 Mercedes C-Class features a number of design and equipment updates. The main exterior changes are the new headlamps and tail lamps with clear-lined contours and the redesigned front bumper featuring either a silver trim strip, a chrome-plated trim strip or a three-part chrome trim strip. Moreover, Multibeam LED headlamps featuring 84 individually controllable LEDs have made it to the mid-size saloon with the facelift.
Mercedes-Benz has enhanced the interior with the introduction of a 12.3-inch HD virtual instrument cluster with three individually selectable styles, a 10.25-inch central display, redesigned steering wheel with touch-sensitive controls, haptic feedback for the infotainment system’s touchpad controller and Energizing comfort control. Another new feature is the operation of Distronic and cruise control with controls directly on the steering wheel.

The new Mercedes C-Class is likely to get new petrol and diesel engines as well. The pre-facelift model is available a 2.0-litre petrol engine that produces 184 hp and 300 Nm of torque, a 2.1-litre diesel engine that develops 170 hp and 400 Nm of torque and a 2.1-litre diesel engine that delivers 204 hp and 500 Nm of torque. The 9G-TRONIC 9-speed automatic transmission sends power to the wheels.
