Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has revealed the pricing for the 2018 Honda CBR 250R. The motorcycle costs INR 1,63,584 for the STD model and INR 1,93,107 for the dual-channel ABS model. Both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
The 2018 Honda CBR 250R features new graphics and LED headlamps as well. The overall design is similar to the older generation CBR 250R. The bike is available in four colours: Matte Axis Grey Metallic with Mars Orange; Matte Axis Grey Metallic with Striking Green; Pearl Sports Yellow, and Sports Red. It features body-coloured rim stickers as well. Though Honda said Vibrant Orange (Repsol) will be available, it is not seen on their official website.

Powering the sports tourer is a 249.6 cc single cylinder DOHC engine with liquid cooling and fuel injection. The BS-IV compatible mill makes 26.5 PS at 8,500 rpm, and 22.9 Nm at 7,000 rpm. The engine works in conjunction with a 6-speed transmission and has a claimed top speed of 135 kmph. The twin-spar frame rides on telescopic front fork, and Pro-Link monoshock at the rear.

The 17-inch alloy wheels are shod with 110-section front and 140-section rear tubeless rubber. The motorcycle comes to a halt using 296 mm front disc and a 220 mm rear disc. A dual-channel ABS is optional. The motorcycle tips the scales at 167 kg, kerb (ABS) and features a 13-litre fuel tank. The chief competitor of the bike in the 250 cc sports touring segment would be the Yamaha Fazer 25.
