Following its debut at the 2018 Auto Expo last month, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has launched the 2018 Honda CB Hornet 160R. The price starts from INR 84,675, ex-showroom, Delhi for the STD version.
The CBS variant costs INR 89,175, and the ABS STD variant is priced at INR 90,175. The ABS DLX version will set you back by INR 92,675. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. The 2018 Honda CB Hornet 160R comes with refreshed graphics, LED headlamp, hazard switch, blue backlit instrument cluster, and a low-maintenance seal chain.

Interestingly, the 2018 version makes less power and torque than the 2017 model, with the numbers reading 15 PS of power at 8,500 rpm and 14.5 Nm at 6,500 rpm. Its predecessor made 15.25 PS and 14.76 Nm at the same rpm, respectively. Pairing with the engine is the same 5-speed transmission.
The motorcycle rides on telescopic front fork and rear monoshock. The 276 mm front petal disc comes with single-channel ABS unit. The rear features either a 130 mm drum or a 220 mm petal disc. The 17-inch alloys wear 100-section front and a 140-section rear tubeless rubber. The bike competes with Suzuki Gixxer, 2018 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, and Bajaj Pulsar NS 160. The motorcycle comes in five colours- Striking Green, Mars Orange, Athletic Blue Metallic, Sports Red, and Dazzle Yellow Metallic.
