FCA India will launch the Jeep Compass Trailhawk the company has confirmed. Autocar India reports that the off-road-focused variant of the Compass will go on sale later this year. However, a more definite launch timeline is yet to be revealed.
The Jeep Compass Trailhawk is 4,398 mm long, 2,033 mm wide and 1,529 mm tall. It offers a high ground clearance of 216 mm and has approach and departure angles of 30.0 degrees and 33.6 degrees respectively. The compact SUV offers a maximum water fording height of 482.6 mm.
The Jeep Compass Trailhawk differentiates itself from the regular variants through features like unique front and rear fascias, anti-glare black hood decal, skid plate protection, signature Ruby Red tow hooks (front & rear), Dark Grey accents and red Trailhawk and Trail Rated badges. The Trailhawk model features Neutral Gray mirrors, fog lamp bezels, roof rails and badging as well.

Jeep is yet to reveal the specifications for the Compass Trailhawk that will be sold here in India. Currently, Jeep offers the SUV with a 1.4 L Petrol engine and a 2.0 L Diesel engine both paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. The Petrol variant can also be had with a 7-speed DCT automatic. Jeep has plans to launch the diesel automatic variants of the Compass in India, but according to report from last month, its launch has been delayed.
