Unlike the standard Mojo, the UT300 gets traditional front fork and a single exhaust.

The booking amount starts at INR 5,000. The Mahindra Mojo UT300 misses out on certain features to make it more competitively priced. The motorcycle was spotted at a dealership recently. The bike loses out on upside down front fork, and gets traditional black fork instead. The gold ‘ribs’ on the frame, and the swingarm are now in black. The bike uses a single exhaust instead of the dual unit in the existing Mojo. The LED DRL units are gone too.

The bike comes with carburettor instead of a fuel injection system. It also does away with the twin horn setup in favour for a single unit. Expect the engine output of the bike to reduce marginally owing to the carburettor. The standard Mahindra Mojo employs a 295cc single cylinder, DOHC engine with liquid cooling and fuel injection. The mill pairs with a 6-speed gearbox. The engine is capable of producing 27 PS of maximum power at 8,000 rpm and 30 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm.

Though the UT300 has some cost cutting features, the bike should be a potent tourer like the normal version.

The rear continues with a monoshock, and the alloy wheels are shod with MRF Nylogrip tyres instead of the Pirelli Diablo Rosso II. With all these cost-cutting measures, expect the bike to be around INR 30,000 lower than the price of the standard bike. The standard variant costs INR 1,74,520, ex-showroom Delhi.
