Maruti Suzuki started accepting pre-orders for the 2018 Maruti Swift last week. According to an image of an internal document shared by Team-BHP member RavenAvi, the all-new Maruti Swift commands a waiting period of up to 6-8 weeks.
The Maruti Swift 2018 is available in twelve different configurations. Like old model, buyers get to choose from 1.2-litre VVT petrol and 1.3-litre DDiS 190 diesel engines. The petrol engine produces 84.3 PS and 113 Nm of torque. The diesel engine develops 75 PS and 190 Nm of torque. While a 5-speed manual transmission is standard like before, there is a 5-speed AGS automated manual transmission option now.
The 2018 Maruti Swift petrol is offered in LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi+ grades, while the diesel is available in LDi, VDi, ZDi and ZDi+ grades. Noteworthy features include LED projector headlamps with LED DRLs, 15-inch precision-cut alloy wheels, LED tail lamps, leather-wrapped flat-bottomed steering wheel, automatic climate control, Smartplay touchscreen infotainment system with sat-nav, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto, reverse parking sensors and reverse parking camera.

Maruti Suzuki will launch the new Swift at Auto Expo 2018 next month. Dealerships have already started receiving the third generation model. Display units should start showing up by tomorrow.
