In its 29-year existence, the brand has sold 1.424 million vehicles in the market.

Though the brand is yet to announce the price, the Honda CB300R will be available from early February at the Honda Wing Center. Honda has designed the CB300R on the concept of Neo Sports Cafe. The Japanese brand unveiled the bike at the 2017 EICMA show in Milan, Italy. The 2018 Honda CB300R follows the design language of its elder brother, the 2018 CB1000R. The round headlamp, muscular fuel tank, and the stubby tail give the bike a minimalistic retro look; and features like LED lighting systems liquid cooled engine give it a modern flair.

The engine is a DOHC 286cc single cylinder unit with liquid cooling and fuel injection. The mill makes 31 PS of power at 8,500 rpm; and 27.5 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. The engine works in tandem with a 6-speed transmission. Honda has designed the engine with a minimum number of moving parts to reduce the maintenance cost. The motorcycle comes with a 10-litre fuel tank, and with a fuel economy of 30.2 km/l (WMTC mode), the CB300R can cover over 300 km on a tank full.
