Maruti Suzuki launched the 2018 Maruti Celerio last week. Here the facelifted Maruti Celerio’s images from a dealership floor, courtesy Motor Trend India.

The 2018 Maruti Celerio features a sportier front-end with a new mesh upper grille with a chrome garnish on the top, new hexagonal air dam grille and restyled bumper with newly designed fog lamp bezels. At the rear, Maruti Suzuki has updated the bumper and tailgate design with the mid-cycle refresh.

Inside, the 2018 Maruti Celerio features new black and greige colour scheme, as well as new seats and door trim design. New abstract pattern complements the griege seat trims. Equipment highlights include 14-inch alloy wheels, electrically adjustable ORVMs, keyless entry, 4-speaker audio system with USB input and Bluetooth connectivity, power windows (front & rear) and steering-mounted audio controls. Driver airbag is standard across the range, and passenger airbag and ABS are available optionally.

The 2018 Maruti Celerio 3,995 mm long, 1,600 mm wide and 1,560 mm tall. It is powered by the K10B 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine that produces 50 kW (67.02 hp) and 90 Nm of torque. A CNG-compliant version is available, which develops 43.5 kW (58.31 hp) and 78 Nm of torque in CNG mode. Transmission choices include 5-speed manual and 5-speed automated manual. The latter is unavailable in the petrol-CNG model.

The new Maruti Celerio is available in 12 configurations, with prices ranging from INR 4,15,995-5,34,765 (ex-showroom Delhi).
