Hyundai gave the popular Creta SUV a facelift recently. This was its first major update since its launch back in July 2015. Here's an image based comparison of the 2018 Hyundai Creta and the 2015 Hyundai Creta highlighting all the changes.

The front section gets updates in the form of a new 'cascading' grille, dual tone bumper, revised fog lamps, bumper mounted LED DRLs, and reworked headlight detailing.

Exterior

Up front, the updated Creta gets a new 'cascading' grille accompanied by a new dual tone bumper with a prominent silver element. The LED DRLs have moved down from the headlamp clusters to the bumper sitting alongside the new fog lamps. The side profile shows the inclusion of sleeker roof rails and new two-tone 17-inch alloy wheels. Much like the front of the 2018 Hyundai Creta, the rear also gets a new bumper with a prominent silver portion. There are smaller reflector units present as well along with revised tail lamp detailing. Passion Orange, Marina Blue, and Passion Orange with Phantom Black roof (dual tone) are the new exterior colour options.

Interior

Changes to the interior are hard to spot. The layout and general colour scheme remains unchanged. With the 2018 Hyundai Creta, the company has introduced a Tangerine Orange colour pack for the dual tone variants. It entails an all-black dashboard along with black seat fabric with orange inserts and contrast stitching. The orange highlights continue on to the gear knob and gaitor and steering wheel stitching. Also, the AUX port, which was found right next to the USB port in the earlier model, seems to have disappeared.

Features

Notable feature additions to the Creta as part of the update are wearable smart key, cruise control, sunroof, wireless charging, electrochromic mirror, and 6-way electrically adjustable driver's seat. Wireless charging and electrically adjustable driver's seat are features exclusive to the Creta and are not offered by any of its rivals. The automatic variants in SX grade are the only ones that get ISOFIX child seat anchorage points and 60:40 split rear seats.

Specifications

The 2018 Hyundai Creta does not bring with it any changes in the engine and transmission options or their specifications. There are three options -
