Yamaha YZF-R25 updated with new colours in Indonesia

Yamaha Motor Indonesia has updated the Yamaha YZF-R25 with new colours and graphics for both ABS and non-ABS variants.

The colour scheme is akin to the 2018 R3 which Yamaha revealed for the international market.

The new colour variants for the bikes are: Deep Purplish Blue, Metallic Black, Silver Black. The new colours are in-line with the other bikes in the R Series family- the YZF-R1 and YZF-R6. The bikes feature coloured wheels as well, to match the look of the motorcycle. The non-ABS variant costs IDR 56,200,000; and the ABS variant is priced at IDR 62,200,000, both OTR, Jakarta. The changes are visual, and the mechanical underpinnings of the bikes are unchanged.

The motorcycle comes with a 250 cc in-line twin cylinder engine with liquid cooling and fuel injection. The DOHC mill makes 36 PS of power at 12,000 rpm, and 22.6 Nm of torque at 10,000 rpm. The powerplant mates with a 6-speed transmission. The motorcycle features twin headlamps, LED tail light, and an analogue-digital combo cluster.

For suspension, the bike employs 41 mm telescopic front forks, and a KYB rear monoshock. The 17-inch alloys are shod with 110-section front and 140-section rear rubber. Brakes include discs on both ends, with the front measuring 298 mm. The motorcycle weighs 166 kg, and gets a 14-litre fuel tank.
