Mahindra has rolled out a mid-life update of the current generation Scorpio. The Mahindra Scorpio 2017 (facelift) carries exterior and interior cosmetic updates along with additions to the list of features on offer. The Scorpio facelift also benefits from increased more power and torque. The 2017 Mahindra Scorpio range starts at INR 9.97 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).

The 2.2 L mHawk diesel under the hood of the Mahindra Scorpio facelift now makes 140 hp and 330 Nm, up by 20 hp and 40 Nm over the older model. However, that spec, available with a 6-speed manual gearbox, is restricted to the S7 and S11 trims only. S11 trim can be had with 4WD as well.

Contrary to previous reports, Mahindra has not added a new 7-inch touchscreen. The Scorpio facelift retains the older 6-inch unit.
