IAB's automotive illustrator, Shoeb Kalania has come up with another 2018 Maruti Ertiga rendering. This one depicts what the rear section of the second generation Ertiga may look like. The rendering is based on recent spy shots of the car.
The illustration clearly highlights the longer rear overhang of the 2018 Maruti Ertiga that is so evident in its spy pictures. It features split tail lamps, which bear some resemblance to those of the current model. A thick slab of chrome stretches across the boot and bears "Ertiga" lettering. As shown in the rendering, the top-spec trim is likely to feature bits like window sill chrome garnish and chrome door handles.
Maruti is expected to reveal the Ertiga sometime next year. An Auto Expo 2018 debut could be a possibility too. According to a recent report, MSIL could move the Ertiga to its Nexa sales outlets. This move seems logical considering the majority of their cars that fall in that price bracket retail through that channel.

The standard variant of the 2018 Maruti Ertiga will be joined by a crossover variant at a later stage claims a report from October. While initially, the current 1.3 L DDiS 200 diesel will be carried over to the new gen model, it is likely to be replaced a new 1.5 L diesel developed in-house by Suzuki.
