Renault Captur India launch on November 6

November 6 has been set as the Renault Captur launch date. Initially scheduled to release in October, the launch of the SUV was deferred due to undisclosed reasons. Bookings have been underway since September 22 and can be made online or via the Renault Captur app.

November 6, 2017, has been set as the launch date for the Renault Captur. Meanwhile, interested customers can place an order for the SUV for INR 25,000.

Production of the Captur is already underway at the Renault-Nissan's plant near Chennai in Tamil Nadu. The company has already started dispatching units to dealers across the country.

Renault will position the Captur above the Duster aiming it at customers looking for a more premium product.

The engine and transmission combinations on offer are the same as the Renault Duster with which it also shares its platform. However, unlike the Duster, which is available in petrol and diesel automatic variants, the Renault Captur is manual only. Also, there is no AWD on offer.
