The range-topping Captur 'Platine' is rumoured to start from INR 15 lakhs.

The Renault Captur will be the company's most premium offering in India. Although it is essentially a Duster underneath the fancy styling, the Captur exclusively comes with equipment like LED headlamps, floating turn indicators, LED DRLs, ripple-effect LED tail lamp signature, four airbags, 7-inch touchscreen, auto aircon, keyless entry and push-button start.

The Captur can be had with a 110 PS 1.5L K9K diesel paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and a 106 PS 1.5 L H4K petrol mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Interestingly, there is no automatic gearbox option or AWD for both variants. India is the first market to get the RHD version of the Duster-based Renault Captur.
