The Mahindra U321 MPV seems to be nearing the end of its testing and development phase as more spy shots with production-spec body parts emerge. CarWale has shared fresh spy pictures of the upcoming MPV along with new details.
As evident from the images on this page, the U321 MPV features headlamps with black bezels and projector units. Unlike current Mahindra products, the LED DRLs are placed on the bumper around the fog lamps instead of being integrated into the headlamp unit. At the back, the car gets vertically stacked tail lamps with LED inserts. Apollo rubber is wrapped around the 16-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels.
Based on spy pictures of the interior published previously, the Mahindra U321 gets a two-tone black-beige colour scheme. There is some usage of gloss black in the multifunction steering wheel. Sandwiched between the tachometer and speedometer is a MID in landscape orientation. The lavender illumination and MID backlit colour might not suit everyone’s taste. However, there could Vitara Brezza like colour variations to choose from.

The MPV will be powered by a new 1.6 L mFalcon diesel engine. Its presence hints at Mahindra positioning the U321 below the Toyota Innova Crysta in the INR 10-15 lakhs bracket. The launch of the Mahindra U321 is expected to take place before the end of the current fiscal.
