A YouTube channel that goes by the name Youtuber Vansh has released a video revealing the Mahindra KUV100 NXT completely. The updated KUV100 is yet to make its official debut, however. The video captures the KUV100 facelift on display at a Mahindra showroom.

Mahindra has made changes to the exterior and added new features to the slow-selling KUV100.

The video showcases the top-end K8 trim of the Mahindra KUV100 NXT. It reveals a new fascia complete with a sharper bumper, reprofiled headlamps, and a new toothed grille. The fog lamp enclosures feature a more angular profile flanking a larger trapezoidal air intake. The KUV100 continues with L-shape LED DRLs, but the headlamps now get a double barrel setup and 'KUV100 NXT' badging on the sunglass like headlamp extensions.

At the back, the tail lamps get black bezels along with a tweaked boot lid that blends the sharp crease flowing over the tail lights into the tail section neatly. The rear bumper also gets a trapezoidal black element to mimic the front accompanied by silver finish faux skid plate. The reflector housings get a sharper profile and no longer carry the rear fog lamps. Other exterior updates include chunkier body cladding and 10-spoke dual tone 15-inch alloy wheels. The Flamboyant Red paint scheme seen here will also be available with a black dual tone option.

Inside, the Mahindra KUV100 NXT K8 features an all-black finish. The most notable addition here is that of a touchscreen AVN. To accommodate the touchscreen, changes have been made to the aircon controls on the centre console. They are now more compact with the tree rotary dials being replaced by a single rotary dial for fan speed control.

According to a report published last month, the Mahindra KUV100 NXT will be 15 mm longer than the model it replaces. Mahindra will sell the Mahindra KUV100 NXT in only ten variants, in K2+, K4+, K6+, K8 and K8+ grades. The KUV100 NXT’s 5-seat version will be available only on a made-to-order basis.

Additions will be made to the equipment list in the form of electrically folding ORVMs, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with GPS navigation with maps from MapMyIndia, remote tailgate locking/unlocking, rear parking sensors and new MID with readouts for gearshifts, drive modes and fuel economy. Safety features will include dual-front airbags, corner braking control and ninth-gen ABS and EBD.

The Mahindra KUV100 NXT will receive retuned versions of the G80 1.2-litre petrol and D75 1.2-litre diesel engines for improved fuel economy. Sources also report that the KUV100 NXT gets strengthened engined mounts to help reduce engine noise and vibrations. The facelifted KUV100 will have a reworked air-filter design. It will also boast a suspension with a longer travel (front: 150 mm, rear: 200 mm), which should improve the ride quality. Improved approach and departure angles (20 degrees and 29 degrees respectively), along with additional ground clearance, will help enhance the quality of ride.
