Isuzu India has announced that the D-Max V-Cross pick-up is now available in a new Ruby Red exterior colour. This is in addition to the existing colours Orchid Brown, Cosmic Black, Titanium Silver, Obsidian Grey and Splash White.
Priced at INR 13.16 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi), the D-Max V-Cross seems to be a bargain for people looking for a butch, premium double cab pick-up truck. Some of the features that are standard in the V-Cross include automatic climate control, steering mounted audio controls, 6-way adjustable driver seat, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a multi-information display and rear seats that split 60:40.
Under the hood is a 2,499 cc four-cylinder VGS turbodiesel engine that outputs 134 hp at 3,600 rpm and peak torque of 320 Nm between 1,800 and 2,800 rpm. It is paired with a five-speed manual gearbox and can be equipped with a 4WD system for extra off-roadability.

Production of the D-Max V-Cross takes place at a localization rate of 70% at the company’s plant in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, alongside their sole SUV offering - the Isuzu MU-X.
