Maruti Suzuki will celebrate the festive season with the launch of the Maruti Celerio X. The Celerio X is a crossover-styled variant of the Celerio and was spotted during a commercial shoot, before its impending launch. Team-BHP reader sidindica has shared a spy shot of the car from the shoot.
The spy shot suggests that the Maruti Celerio X features black alloy wheels, black body cladding and faux skid plates. It is painted in what looks like a shade of dark orange. It could have a 10-15 mm higher ground clearance. The regular Maruti Celerio is 3,600 mm long, 1,600 mm and 1,560 mm, and offers a minimum ground clearance of 165 mm. Inside, the Maruti Celerio X may have unique trim and upholstery to go with the rugged exterior.
The Maruti Celerio is powered by the K10B 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine that produces 50 kW (67.02 hp) at 6,000 rpm and 90 Nm of torque at 3,500 rpm. It has two transmission choices: 5-speed manual and 5-speed automated manual. Specifications of the Celerio X are currently unknown, but it should have the same engine as the standard variant.
