For suspension, the Grom employs 31 mm inverted fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear. The bike rolls on 12-inch alloy wheels shod with 120-section front and 130-section rear tyres. Brakes include a single 220 mm disc with two piston calliper and ABS at the front. The rear gets a 190 mm disc with a single piston calliper.
The bike gets a 5.5-litre fuel tank with a claimed fuel efficiency of 66 kmpl. The kerb weight of the bike stands at 106 kg. In the US market, the price of the 2018 Grom starts at USD 3,349 (INR 2.15 lakhs). Honda has not revealed any plans of launching the bike in India. If Honda plans to bring the bike in India, the high-quality cycle parts might make it prohibitively expensive.
