The 2018 Bentley Continental GT has been showcased at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show.
The 2018 iteration of the Continental GT gets an all-new body and the materials used have resulted in weight savings of more than 80 kg over the previous generation Continental GT. The design of the car draws inspiration from the EXP 10 Speed 6 concept car. The Continental GT is 4,805 mm long, 2,187 mm wide and 1,405 mm high. It weighs 2,244 kg kerb.
Coming to the interior, the car gets a new 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, 60 GB SSD, Sirius satellite radio, and 4G telephone system. A 650W 10-speaker system is standard. The standard seat comes with 12 ways of movement.

Powering the Continental GT is the 5,950cc twin turbocharged W12 TSI engine. The engine pushes out 635 PS of power at 6,000 rpm and a massive 900 Nm of torque at 1,350-4,500 rpm. Under light load, the engine can shut down half its cylinders too. The powerplant is mated to a ZF eight-speed dual clutch transmission with active all-wheel drive system. There are four driving modes: Sport, Comfort, Bentley and Custom. The car can reach a top speed of 333 kmph.
The front end features aluminium double wishbones, and the rear gets aluminium multi-link design, both linked with 48V anti-roll bars. The all-new three-chamber air suspension with continuous damping ensure absolute comfort and stability. On the safety department, the car gets front and side driver/passenger airbags, night vision, lane assist, traffic sign recognition among others. The car comes to a halt using 420 mm front with 10-piston callipers and 380 mm rear ventilated iron discs with four-piston calliper.
