Volkswagen has introduced the 2017 VW Polo in Brazil. The South American country is the first market outside Europe to have received the all-new Polo.
The 2017 VW Polo is available in four configurations: standard, MSI, Comfortline 200TSI and Highline 200TSI. The base configuration has features like body-coloured bumpers, 15-inch steel wheels, remote locking doors, trunk and fuel cap, all four power windows, Media Plus infotainment system with CD player and Bluetooth, height adjustable driver’s seat, four airbags, ABS, EBD and ESS.
Features like LED daytime running lights, 16-inch alloy wheels, 10.25-inch Active Info display, 8-inch Discover infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and MirrorLink, leather steering wheel, Climatronic automatic climate control, reverse camera, Hill Hold Control and Fatigue Detector are available, some standard, some optionally.

2017 VW Polo buyers in Brazil have three flex-fuel engine choices. The range starts with the 1.0-litre MPI engine producing up to 84 cv (84 hp) and up to 10.4 kgf.m (101.99 Nm) of torque. Then there’s the 1.6-litre MSI engine developing up to 117 cv (117 hp) and up to 16.5 kgf.m (161.81 Nm) of torque. Both engines are paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. The top-of-the-line option is the 1.0-litre TSI engine delivering up to 128 cv (128 hp) and 20.4 kgf.m (200.06 Nm) of torque. It sends power to the wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The 2017 VW Polo is now available to pre-order in Brazil. Prices of the sixth-gen Polo in the country are as follows:

Volkswagen India will decide on the introduction of the MQB Polo shortly, it was reported last month.
