Suzuki India has so far sold 350,000 units in fiscal so far.
A report in ET Auto reveals that the Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd will be launching more products in the 125 cc to 150 cc engine displacement bracket. Apart from this they will be also be beefing up the dealer network.
Suzuki India also wants to introduce ABS in its two-wheeler models above 125 cc models before the April 2019 deadline. At present Suzuki retails the Suzuki Gixxer family in India which includes a naked roadster and a faired version, both of which are carburetted. A fuel injected Suzuki Gixxer SF is also available.
Powering the Suzuki Gixxer family is a 154.9 cc single cylinder, air-cooled mill coupled to a 5-speed gearbox. The engine is capable of producing 14.8 PS of maximum power at 8,000 rpm and 14 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm.

The company at present has 893 touch points which include 449 dealerships. Suzuki intends to increase this number to 549 in the financial year 2017-18.
