Renault India displayed an accessorised Renault Kwid at the Surat International Auto Expo 2017 held last week. Here are the accessorised Kwid's images from the show.
The Renault Kwid is the Renault-Nissan Alliance's first model to be based on the CMF-A version of the familiar CMF (Common Module Family) platform. The SUV-styled hatchback sits in the A-segment and competes with the Datsun redi-GO, the Maruti Alto and the Hyundai Eon, and is the company's best-selling model in the country. Over one lakh units of the car are delivered in India alone.
The Renault Kwid is available in four trim levels: STD, RXE, RXL and RXT, and in three models: 0.8 SCe, 1.0 SCe and 1.0 SCe AMT. The car seen in the live images is the Kwid 1.0 AMT in RXT trim level. The range-topping model features two-tone gloss grey door mirrors, ‘Speed-sport’ designer graphics on doors, remote keyless entry with central locking, dual-tone dashboard, front power windows and MediaNAV touchscreen infotainment system.
The Kwid displayed at the show also featured optional accessories like alloy wheels, headlamp, fog lamp and tail lamp chrome garnish, bumper liner chrome and body graphics.

The Renault Kwid 1.0 AMT RXT comes with the 1.0-litre SCe three-cylinder petrol engine that develops 68 PS at 5,500 rpm and 91 Nm of torque at 4,250 rpm. Power goes to the wheels via a 5-speed automated manual transmission. The ARAI-rated fuel economy figure is 24.04 km/l. The Kwid 1.0 AMT RXT costs INR 4,31,576 (ex-showroom Delhi).
