Features body graphics and an all-black interior.
Nissan has launched the limited edition Datsun redi-GO Sport in Delhi today. Based on the top-end Datsun redi-GO S, the new range-topper is priced at INR 3.49 Lakhs (Ex-showroom Delhi).
On the outside, the redi-GO features a contrasting black stripe running across the engine hood, roof and tailgate, gloss black bezel around the grille that has a red-painted mesh, black-painted wheel covers with red accents, black roof spoiler and another stripe stickered across the profile. It is available in three colors: Ruby red, white and grey.
Inside, the redi-GO Sport drops the beige color for an all-black interior with red accents on the steering wheel and HVAC vents, so as to match with the theme of the package. To respond to criticism about the lack of features, Datsun has equipped the redi-GO Sport with rear parking sensors, bluetooth connectivity and remote keyless entry.
Despite sharing the platform and internals with the Renault Kwid, the redi-GO is yet to receive the bigger 1.0L powerplant. So the redi-GO Sport will carryover the 799 cc three-cylinder petrol engine capable of producing 53 hp and 72 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. It is capable of averaging a fuel mileage of 25.17 km/l (certified by the ARAI).
